The Palm Springs Friends of Philharmonic Corporate Circle is made up of leaders in the business community who value the arts and who understand the positive impact they have on our children, their families and the community as a whole. The Corporate Circle promises to be one of the Coachella Valley’s most dynamic corporate membership programs. Through unique Corporate Circle events, targeted recognition and business to business networking, Corporate Circle membership is your ticket to an amazing cultural experience and business development.
Corporate Circle Founding Members
The Philharmonic and YOUTH
In addition to our powerful role as one of the country’s premiere presenters of touring symphony orchestras, the Philharmonic is one of the Coachella Valley’s largest supporter of music education. Each year we contribute almost $100,000 toward music education for Coachella Valley youth. We offer full scholarships to aspiring middle and high school students to attend summer music camps. These summer camp experiences are often a young person’s first experience away from home and encourages them not only to improve their music skills but also to learn life skills. We also support our local Coachella Valley youth who decide to pursue music in college. Most of these young people are first generation college students. The public schools that participate in our programs are typically over 85% diverse and over 80% are economically disadvantaged.
We also offer free tickets to local middle and high school students to attend our concerts and have an instrument donation program. During the covid-shutdown, we provided a special music emergency grant fund awarding over $60,000 to Coachella Valley middle and high schools, and for our 50th Anniversary Celebration in 2024 awarded another $70,000 – all in support of music education.
